The Heimat at 1495m: Plan Your Visit

The Heimat Airport Transfer

What do the international airports of Friedrichshafen, Munich and Zurich have in common? They are all less than 200km and only a two-and-a-half-hour drive away from The Heimat. Year-around enjoyment of pristine alpine surroundings and breath-taking natural beauty have never been closer. Please find options for all of your travel needs directly below:

Arrival by public transport:

The Heimat is ideally located for your climate-conscious arrival by train. Aim for the nearest train stations at St. Anton or Bludenz when visiting in the summer. In the winter, we recommend the train station at Bregenz. All three stations are generally served by international connections. For the onward journey to Schroecken-Nesslegg, you can use the regional bus lines.

Arrival by car:

Approaching Schroecken-Nesslegg by car is a simple and efficient means of travel from all directions – regardless of your point of origin in Germany, Switzerland or Austria. Both the L200 from Dornbirn (through the Bregenzerwald) and the L198 from Tyrol and Bavaria take you straight to the Arlberg region on a year-around basis. From spring to fall, one can also reach Nesslegg via a southern connection through Zuers and Lech.
