Though in winter there is more snow here than anywhere else in Europe, the plateau is still spoilt by the sun all year round. Glittering, sky-high white slopes tower above the deep mystical forests of the Bregenzerwald, which are criss-crossed by a frozen stream that occasionally splashes over small waterfalls.

Where skiers have left their tracks in the snow in the cold season, countless fragrant herbs and wild flowers break through the snow cover with the onset of spring. For the next few months they will fill the air with a wealth of spicy and fine scents, enticing the game from the woods and the slopes and inviting travellers to linger. Until the end of October, the days become shorter again, the sparkling hoarfrost and soon the first snowflakes lay down over the pastures again.

Your apartment will be rented to guests by our experienced apartment operator for the first 20 years (buy-to-let serviced apartments). Rental and maintenance of your property will be carried out directly by our operator. Your apartment will thus generate a corresponding return on your investment. In addition, you can use your apartment for your own holiday for up to eight weeks per year at your discretion. At the start of the 21st year, your property will automatically be designated as your secondary residence.

The Arlberg, probably the most famous mountain region of the country, lies between Tyrol and Vorarlberg and has been home to Austria's largest skiing region since 2017. Known as the "cradle of alpine skiing", the area has won several titles in recent years, including "the world's best ski resort" once more in 2017. Between November and April, the Arlberg is a magnet for hundreds of thousands of winter sports enthusiasts, but also for those seeking peace and quiet. In the warm months, the name Arlberg stands for a feel-good region and a variety of adventures in the high mountains.

Snow Kingdom

The Schröcken-Nesslegg region has 11 metres of glittering snow of the highest quality every season - premium snow is guaranteed. 305 kilometres of fantastic ski slopes, well prepared, are waiting for you in this enchanting area. In addition, there are 200 km of high alpine powder snow slopes, 40 km of snowshoe hiking trails, 27 km of cross-country skiing trails, ice skating and curling areas, toboggan runs and much more - the winter wonderland of Arlberg is virtually limitless.

Summer time

In Summer the region is internationally popular, due to the quickly noticeable health benefits. At almost 1,500 metres, the air is virtually free of house dust mites and contains only a negligible amount of pollen. The so-called high-altitude stimulation climate in Schröcken-Nesslegg has a lasting positive effect on the heart, circulation and breathing.

But adrenaline is also well taken care of: if mountain bikers can get their money's worth in the mountainous world, the Bregenzerwald offers a lot more. If challenging canyoning tours or rafting on the Lech, Europe's last true wild river, is not enough for you, then why not jump off a bridge on a secure bungee rope in the Bregenzerwald.
