Take advantage of this unique highlight in the Austrian Alps. In the Rothorn apartment, you will wake up each morning in one of the two panoramic bedrooms with an unobstructed, year-round view of the mountain peaks bathed in soft morning light – one of which is the Rothorn at 2,237 m. Up to eight people – or four adults and four children – will soon discover that this apartment is their new favourite home from home. The days here can be enjoyed to the fullest on the large sun terrace, where an additional 42 square metres of privacy under a clear blue sky are available all year round – enough space for intensive sunbathing or a terrace party with family and friends in the evening.

After a hike on one of the hundreds of kilometres of trails and via ferratas in the surrounding area, or an exciting day on the slopes in the Arlberg ski area – the downhill run to the village of Schröcken runs right next to your apartment (Ski-In & Ski-Out*) – you can end the day in your own sauna and then relax in your spacious living area. Would you prefer an infrared sauna cabin? No problem, because your apartment is also equipped with this luxury feature. In addition, there are two bathrooms with a shower and bathtub. Austria - Vorarlberg - Bregenzerwald

There are few countries in the world that have influenced and inspired history and people as much as Austria. Culture and tradition are close to each other for its inhabitants and have found their way into essential things such as culinary delights, music and philosophy of life. Cities such as Vienna, Innsbruck or Bregenz on Lake Constance seduce with a very special charm, hospitality and a decelerated pace of life. If you are looking for peace and adventure, you will soon find yourself in the valleys and mountains of Austria.

The Arlberg, probably the most famous mountain region of the country, lies between Tyrol and Vorarlberg and has been home to Austria's largest skiing region since 2017. Known as the "cradle of alpine skiing", the area has won several titles in recent years, including "the world's best ski resort" once more in 2017. Between November and April, the Arlberg is a magnet for hundreds of thousands of winter sports enthusiasts, but also for those seeking peace and quiet. In the warm months, the name Arlberg stands for a feel-good region and a variety of adventures in the high mountains.

Snow Kingdom

The Schröcken-Nesslegg region has 11 metres of glittering snow of the highest quality every season - premium snow is guaranteed. 305 kilometres of fantastic ski slopes, well prepared, are waiting for you in this enchanting area. In addition, there are 200 km of high alpine powder snow slopes, 40 km of snowshoe hiking trails, 27 km of cross-country skiing trails, ice skating and curling areas, toboggan runs and much more - the winter wonderland of Arlberg is virtually limitless.

Summer time

In Summer the region is internationally popular, due to the quickly noticeable health benefits. At almost 1,500 metres, the air is virtually free of house dust mites and contains only a negligible amount of pollen. The so-called high-altitude stimulation climate in Schröcken-Nesslegg has a lasting positive effect on the heart, circulation and breathing.

But adrenaline is also well taken care of: if mountain bikers can get their money's worth in the mountainous world, the Bregenzerwald offers a lot more. If challenging canyoning tours or rafting on the Lech, Europe's last true wild river, is not enough for you, then why not jump off a bridge on a secure bungee rope in the Bregenzerwald.

Alpen.Golf

There are three excellent golf courses right nearby The Heimat: Within just 30 to 60 minutes, golf enthusiasts can travel in comfort either by car or in the private golf shuttle from Schröcken-Nesslegg to the 9 and 18-hole courses in Lech, St. Anton or Ausserbraz. All three courses are surrounded by stunning mountain scenery. Whether you’re a golfing professional, beginner, or a nature lover, you’ll find all you could wish for here. More
